Women and Gender in Middle East Politics
Abstract
The study deals with several topics on Arabic women in the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf States. These topics can be summed up in:
Women’s Substantive Representation in Arab Parliaments: Te Gender and Elections in the Middle East Project; Women’s Equality; Public Sexual Violence; Gender Politics; Women’s Political Representation and Authoritarianism in the Arab World; and the Politics of the Truth and Dignity Commission in Post-Revolutionary Tunisia: Gender Justice as a threat to Democratic transition.
