This document presents A Case Study of –” Why Do They Hate
Us? The real war on women is in the Middle East”- Complicities of Western Feminism. This project is a critical examination of Mona Eltahawy's article "Why Do They Hate us The real war on women is in the Middle East "from a postcolonial Feminist perspective. The project will discuss women's freedom and rights with Focus on Egypt, which will be exemplified by cultural practice: Female genital mutilation. We want through Chandra Mohanty's concept: Intersectionality and Edward Said's reartication of orientalism illuminate. The necessity for a divergent understanding of different cultures, as well Problematize Western understandings of concepts such as 'freedom' and 'right.
