Resolution 40-36- Domestic violence
Abstract
This document presents the Resolution 40-36 on Domestic violence.The General Assembly invites the Member States, through this resolution, to take urgent and specific measures to prevent violence in the family and to provide appropriate assistance to its victims and requests the Secretary-General to intensify research on Violence in the family from a criminological perspective, to establish specific action-oriented strategies that could serve as a basis for policy development.
