Stop the exploitation of migrant domestic workers- the first newsletter
Abstract
This document presents the KAFA newsletter for the project, “Stop the Exploitation of Migrant Domestic Workers”. This newsletter was created to provide a space for women who work as domestic workers in Lebanon to tell each other their stories, advice, and opinions with the goal of exchanging information and connecting workers who may feel isolated and alone. The newsletter is also designed to offer useful information and to act as a directory to services available in Lebanon; this includes information on changes in Lebanese regulations and legal and social guidance. Finally, Kafa would like to improve the next edition of the newsletter and to include the stories and opinions of others wanting to share their experience working and living in Lebanon.
