The Hidden cost of war in Syria: Gender Based Violence
Abstract
This document puts the light on the situation of Syrian refugees, particularly women and girls. At the beginning it focuses on the forms of gender-based violence and the growing number of refugees and refugee women as a result of the situation in Syria. Added to that it provides quantitative and how data that reflects the size of victims and the quality of the excesses committed in their rights. The documents also provide guidance about intervention mechanisms with refugees and victims of sexual violence, which are the interest of the directives actors on the ground (international organizations and civil society).
