Right to health in Tunisia, the challenges of universal healthcare
Abstract
This document presents a report on Right to health in Tunisia, the challenges of universal healthcare. This report aims to assess progress toward realizing the right to health in Tunisia according to the criteria of availability, accessibility, acceptability, quality, participation, freedoms, and entitlements while adopting a gender approach. After presenting a review of the current situation, the basis for the right to health and its consolidation in Tunisian law will be assessed. This will be followed by an examination of the right to health and its application by ascertaining the status of criteria and indicators related to this right.
