P65.jpg

This compendium includes best practices in projects and initiatives that addressed discriminatory social beliefs and practices that hinder gender equality in Arabic-speaking Middle East and North Africa. This collection includes summaries of 16 good experiences that have been drawn from evaluation studies carried out by CAWTAR researchers. Contained data rely on lessons learnt from each project aimed at addressing discriminatory social beliefs and practices in the Arab region in order in order to present them as successful strategic examples from which other organization could benefit in carrying out their current and future projects.

This publication is one of the most important results of a regional project implemented by CAWTAR and funded by the ford foundation.
